One of the best places on Earth to see the effects of wind erosion is Antarctica. In many places on this huge continent, the winds rarely, if ever, cease. Boulders exposed to this type of environment are deeply eroded by the prevailing winds.
Other good places to view extensive wind erosion are the many huge deserts of the world, such as the Cobi and Sahara. On these sandy deserts, winds are constantly shifting sand particles, creating shifting sand dunes and cutting deeply into any existing bedrock.
